Isabella Corn Grinding Business
Isabella has been grinding small batches of corn to create the flour necessary for making tortillas for several families in her neighborhood in a rural village in the outskirts of Tegucigalpa Honduras. Although she is able to earn a minimal living income from her small business, she could expand and thrive if she could purchase a commercial corn mill. This would enable her to dramatically increase her output, and serve more customers that find it difficult and expensive to travel into the city to purchase ground corn. Isabella’s dream is to provide a college fund for her elementary school-aged children.
